Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, person-centered, guiding conversation style that helps strengthen a person’s own motivation to change. Participants of this course will gain insight into the core skills, and methods of MI. Each participant will also learn about and engage in stage of change specific exercises that will help prepare them to support their peers in the change process.
5/27/21 - Motivational Interviewing in Peer Support Services - 3 hours
This online training is on 5/27/21 from 12-3pm. To attend this training you must have a working computer camera and be visibly present the entire training. You will also be required to complete a online sign in sheet, online evaluation, and pass an online quiz before receiving your completion certificate.
Once registered, you will receive a zoom link to attend the training.
In the event you need to cancel your attendance, you will need to do so 14 days prior to the training start date. Not doing so will result in no refund.
